Easter Competition Terms & Conditions

1. The prize draw (the "Prize Draw") is open to UK residents aged 18 and over, excluding employees of Mark Bates Ltd, its group companies, their immediate families, or anyone professionally associated with the competition.To enter, participants must follow the instructions provided in the Instagram competition post, correctly identify the letters hidden in the posted images, and submit the completed word along with their name and contact details via the method specified (e.g. online form, direct message, or email).
2. No purchase is necessary to enter the Prize Draw.
3. Only one entry per person is permitted. Entries on behalf of another person or joint submissions will not be accepted.
4. The competition closes on Monday April 21st at 5pm. Entries received after this time will not be considered.
5. The winner will be chosen from all valid entries submitted by the deadline. The winner will be selected at random using a computer-generated process.
6. The prize is an easter Jellycat. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash or any other alternative.
7. Mark Bates Ltd reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.
8. The winner will be notified by email, telephone, or direct message via Instagram within seven days of the closing date. If the winner does not respond within 30 days of notification, Mark Bates Ltd reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
9. The prize will be sent by post to the address provided by the winner.
10. Mark Bates Ltd accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete, or cannot be entered due to technical or other reasons.
11. By entering this competition, entrants confirm they are aged 18 or over and consent to these Terms and Conditions.
12. The winner may be asked to participate in promotional activity related to the Prize Draw. By entering, participants grant Mark Bates Ltd the right to use their name for publicity and promotional purposes in connection with the Prize Draw, without additional compensation.
13. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram. Entrants release Instagram from all responsibility relating to the competition.
14. Any personal data provided will be processed in accordance with Mark Bates Ltd’s privacy policy and applicable data protection legislation. Data will be used solely for the purposes of administering this competition unless explicit consent is given for other uses.
15. Mark Bates Ltd accepts no liability for any loss, damage, injury, or disappointment incurred as a result of participating in the Prize Draw or accepting the prize. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall limit or exclude liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by negligence.
16. Mark Bates Ltd reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw this competition at any time if circumstances arise outside its reasonable control.
17. The decision of Mark Bates Ltd in all matters relating to the Prize Draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
