We don't just support our policy holders, Mark Bates Ltd is dedicated to make a difference to those that need it most. From local donations and national good causes to international help we are raising more and more each year.
Some Of Our Recent Events
We helped fund Lancashire Girls FA to visit and train in Madrid in May 2023.
We have held several coffee mornings in aid of Macmillan cancer support. So far raising more than £550 that will go towards suporting people fighting cancer.
In order to raise money for New Life Charity for disabled children, three of our staff ran 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours! Collecting a wopping £1300 of donations in the process.
We raised a fantastic £231 for the Ukraine Red Cross and enjoyed some yummy cakes too.
Following this inspiring story of a boy who walked 600 miles to get himself to the Slovakian border following the invasion of Ukraines we decided to raise money for Voices Of Children and cover the same distance as a team. 12 people from our team walked, ran and one rolled in a wheelchair over one week to achieve this tremendous goal and raise much needed funds.
Following our recent Dementia Friendly sessions we decided to raise some money for the Alzheimer's Society as a thank you.
