It's important to note that while cabin cars provide enhanced comfort and protection, with a fixed enclosure. They may also be larger and heavier than standard mobility scooters, which could affect their manoeuvrability and transportation options. As such, standard insurance just won't cut it. We have created a bespoke policy to make sure your cabin car is protected.

Enclosed

A "cabin car" in relation to a mobility scooter typically refers to a type of scooter that provides a higher level of weather protection and comfort compared to standard open-frame mobility scooters.

Weather Proof

A cabin car is designed to be used outdoors and provides a fully enclosed cabin or compartment for the user. This enclosure often includes features like doors, windows, a roof, and sometimes heating or air conditioning. Some models even have windshield wipers and headlights, making them suitable for a wider range of weather conditions.
